Clarive has two tag modes enabling tags to be added to the repo. These are:
Only environment: system tags (i.e. the Environments defined in the associated Project can be assigned directly in the GitRepository CI using the Create system tags Service. There is an option here to preserve any existing tags in the repository, as well as to add the tags to a specific commit. Create system tags is also available as a Palette item, and system tags can be added via a Pipeline rule when running a Job.
Release + environment: release version and system tags (see above). Since this involves the running of a Job, this mode cannot be applied directly in the GitRepository CI; rather, it is applied via a Pipeline Rule. It includes an option to preserve any existing tags in the repository, as well as to add the tags to a specific commit.
